"match" can be translated as "Streichholz", "�bereinstimmung" or "stimmen �berein". In my reply I was considering the general case and not the exact set of strings in gtk-gnutella at the moment. So maybe that's fine for the moment but in general the same word can be used differently in different contexts. This will at least force us to add some arbitrary extra information to strings so that they don't clash with another which is much more likely with single words. > Looks fairly straight forward to me. Don't forget --keyword=ngettext:1:2. I didn't know that ngettext() is not meant to be used with format strings. Looking at the current set of translatable format string it's possible that such hacks work. -- Christian
