Ok I'm not sure if my issue is the same as other people who are reporting
this, because most of them said that the sluggishness has been there
prior
to beta 3 and has actually gotten better with the release of beta 3.
On the
other hand, I have not had a sluggish problem at all until beta 3 came
out.
Here's an example. In windows vista go into documents. It doesn't
matter
how you do this but for consistency let's just say choose documents
from the
start menu. At this point windows explorer opens and places you in a
listview of the files and folders in your documents folder. In my case I
have quite a few files in this folder, and pressing down arrow to move
through this list I am getting sluggishness. What I mean by sluggish is
sometimes it takes a second or so to interrupt speech as I'm moving
through
the list, and it doesn't immediately speak the next item. This is with a
TrippleTalk USB in USB mode. Now if I switch to DECtalk Access32 the
problem seems much less apparent. With eloquence, the speech is
interrupted
immediately as soon as I hit down arrow but sometimes it can take a
while to
speak the next item after it has moved there. I hope this helps at
least a
little!

Can you give us examples of the sluggishness?
