Sounds like a cursor delay problem to me and i'm sure I've come across similar problems in my Thunderbird wanderings though most of those sorts of problems disappeared without trace when Window-Eyes 7.0 was released. I still have a slight problem when backspacing but I suspect this could probably be fixed if I could be bothered changing the cursor delays and things, just one of those thins I haven't gotten around to tweaking.
