I created a shortcut key for narrator so it can come up right away. I had to come up with an alternative since the Windows U combination would not work in the shortcut key field. I now am using Windows 7 so this is not a problem. However, I remember that when I had XP, I was told that when Window-Eyes was running thatthe the Windows+U combination would not bring up Narrator. I can't remember why. I had to remember thekeystrokes for going into All Programs, Accessories, and Narrator. -----Original Message----- From: Sahar's Beaded Creations Sent: Monday, March 11, 2013 3:40 PM To: [email protected] ; Morné van der Merwe ; gwmicro list Subject: Re: WE and lockups Strangest thing, Windows U no longer brings up Narrator. I must find Narrator and restore that shortcut to it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "manny" <[email protected]> To: "Morné van der Merwe" <[email protected]>; "gwmicro list" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 11, 2013 12:48 PM Subject: Re: WE and lockups I would suggest running narrator to close all files and programs, then log off your computer and start over.
