Hello list,

Thanks for all the solutions. Can someone please contact me off list and
tell me more about the mentioned batch file? I've downloaded NVDA
To help me through a lockup. I start using it more and more. Why does WE
lock up so much? Is it my system or a WE thing?

Regards

I created a shortcut key for narrator so it can come up right away. I had
to come up with an alternative since the Windows U combination would not
work in the shortcut key field. There is more than one way to skin a cat.

I now am using Windows 7 so this is not a problem. However, I remember that
when I had XP, I was told that when Window-Eyes was running thatthe the
Windows+U combination would not bring up Narrator. I can't remember why. I
had to remember thekeystrokes for going into All Programs, Accessories, and
Narrator.

Strangest thing, Windows U no longer brings up Narrator. I must find
Narrator and restore that shortcut to it.

I would suggest running narrator to close all files and programs, then
log off your computer and start over.

Good luck, Manny
