I'm not sure that it is. It looks more like there was a belt originally that was painted over. It may well have been overpainted at a later date. Chranach was churning these ladies out like nobodies business it seems because they were a good seller. This one is a particularly rushed job compared to some of his finer more carefully painted figures.
