MDLTextureInfo reports the right texture path (Texture path 1 - "<Mod
Folder>\materials\models\guy\"), and the textures show up in hlmv just
fine if I put them in the root materials directory. It seems like
something internal may have gotten tweaked, but I haven't touched any of
that. Weirder still is that it's not a global problem : textures for
the other models still work. What could cause hlmv /and/ the game to
both ignore the additional search paths, but only for this model?
@Tobias, I don't think there's anything wrong with the .vmt, since it
works properly if it's in the root materials directory, but just in
case, here it is:
