Not saying those particular servers are doing it but it is very lucrative
to run ads on quickplay servers. You can even keep spamming them with the
invisible motd. There's nothing to prevent someone from putting up a bunch
of servers like that and using fake players to fill them easily and by the
time valve gets around to banning them who cacres get new ips profit made.


valve can deal with this issue completely by making it unprofitable
