If you'd like to email me a file, I'd be happy to listen to it and tell you if there is any problem I hear with the file itself.
It's conceivable that there is distortion in the file because your recording levels were too high, and that for whatever reason, you're noticing the distortion more when played back on your computer than you did when listening through headphones - that is but one of the possible explanations. You can, although it's slower, transfer the files via the USB connection - I don't have a card reader on my computer so that's what I do: connect the H2, tell it to behave as a storage device (you will see this prompt on the H2 after you connect it), and then it appears as a "drive" which I access via Windows Explorer, highlighting the files I want and copying them to my computer's actual hard drive. This is a fine email address if you wish to send a file, and I can get rid of the file here afterwards if that's a concern of yours. Time for me to go upstairs and practice for a few minutes! -S- On Wed, May 11, 2011 at 2:27 PM, Lawrence Yates <[email protected]> wrote: > I just double clicked the files so they opened in Windows Media Player.
