The only times I've had any success, either on this box or on other boxes, the Device setting has been socket://192.168.0.3. Hplip sets it as hp:net/Photosmart_C7100_series?ip=192.168.0.3 Should it really be that? I'm going to take a break now. I'll be back in around an hour for a short session.
