I did that, when I installed it before.  It put everything in the Download 
directory.  Is that really the best place, or should I move the file 
to /opt/?

I went through without any errors, IIRC, so it should do again.  I'll do the 
actual instal in the morning, though.  Working late in the evening seems to 
make me have too many PEBCAKs :-)
