Hold on one second. What you say implies you have two versions
installed. The htpurge program is from 3.2.0b2 and later, but in the 3.2
releases, there's no such thing as a db.wordlist.
But just because the database files exist doesn't mean any indexing
happened. There's a minimal database size, so smallish databases could
still be empty. The important question is whether you've tried running
htdig with some verbose flags (e.g. -vvv) and see it connecting to sites
and indexing the pages.
