OK. Here's my question--what are you want out of the installation? Do you
want a stable version? If so, kill the 3.2.0b3 installation, install 3.1.5
and make sure you have 3.1.5 versions of the rundig script and htdig.conf.

If you need the phrase searching or are willing to deal with the beta (and
the bugs), feel free to go with 3.2.0b3 and read on.

Uh huh. Have you seen the upgrade guide?
<http://www.htdig.org/dev/htdig-3.2/upgrade.html> -- it's mentioned in the
release notes for all 3.2 releases. A *lot* of things have changed with
the 3.2 releases, including new formats for the htfuzzy databases. So
you'll pretty much want to make sure you're installing into a clean
directory when you install.
