Hi Gilles,
I have patched 3.1.4 release with your three patches and tested it. For
five values of max_keywords, 0 6 9 11 13, I randig and searched one
keyword. I chose a keyword that is the sixth meta keyword in a set of
over a hundred meta keywords that one department in our site keeps in 16
documents.

I interpret the above that increasing the value of max_keywords causes an
increase in the size of db.wordlist; every other increase also causes an
increase in the size of db.words.db; however, the increase does not
translate into search results. In other words if max_keywords is set to a
value other than zero, meta keywords become useless, although, they
evidently make a difference in the dig;-/

Joe
