John, thanks for the links. Also thanks to all who provided contact info. I had a recent "experience" with a dock station for my home machine that I want to "share" with Dell corporate and "consumer reports" sites. I used to think HP was the bottom of the barrel. For my next machine, I'll explore my options. I, too, wiped out Windoze for Linux, and am virus- and relatively crash-free.
