I have to second Mr. Rowe's comment on building your own PC. The one I built in 2003 is the best PC (out of 3, one a Dell :-( ) in my house. Built it around a P4 chip. I built mine around the theory that you PC is only as fast as the slowest piece of hardware (CD, disk drive, video, etc.) So the moral of the story do not SKIMP on your hardware.
