That has not been our experience, even with flash copy. YMMV, but I would suggest planning for a cold start. The TEMP pool would be environmental dependant. I guess it's a matter of opinion; while I agree with page, there are justifications for mirroring SPOOL and TEMP. When we set up GDPS, we included the latter two.
