Many of us have to demonstrate a link between the source code and load library. That is, we can identify which source code was used to create a given load lib member. And then demonstrate that both are protected as well as managed by a change control process.
Each member's last update is to be linked to the manager that approved the promotion. The load library being in link list with APF potential often brings even tighter controls and oversight. -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:ibm-m...@bama.ua.edu] On Behalf Of Frank Swarbrick Sent: Wednesday, July 29, 2009 5:17 PM To: IBM-MAIN@bama.ua.edu Subject: Re: Of link lists and application programs ..snip I am confused as to what a source control management system has to do with LNKLST.
