Examine the documentation; you'll see that it always reads OS/VS2, sometimes with MVS following it, sometimes not, e.g., "OS/VS2 MVS Overview", "This edition applies to Release 3.8 of OSjVS2 and to all subsequent releases of OSjVS2 until otherwise indicated in new editions or Technical Newsletters."
