IMHO the most scaring is to find out you need SA tape.
Instead of SA tape I strongly prefer tech LPAR. It's more convenient and
it works for all cases except POR. For POR you need another CPC with
tech system.
If you have single CPC, then some procedures would assure you that you
will have tech LPAR working after the POR. Of course it's nothing wrong
in having SA tape (+tools, +documentation!!!) as another level of recovery.
