There is another way to get to the index. Instead of clicking on the .pdx file, open any document in the directory that has the .pdx file. Click on "Edit" then "Advanced Search". Click on "Show More Options". In the menu under "Look in:" click on "Select Index..." The .pdx file will be the only choice shown. Click the "OK" button". Enter what you want to search for.
