There used to be loyalty, back before constant cost-cutting. I stayed at one place for 15 years in the 80s and early 90s.
However with constant cost-cutting, the term "full time employee" is a misnomer. All it takes is "management by airline magazine" and any concept of a full time employee goes out the window in a heartbeat.
