Good idea. The setup I described is one I've been using for decades (way, way pre-SES) and I never bothered to change it once things got SES-ified. I wish I understood SES better. I'll have a peek (btw, you want somewhere to post all these goodies you've got squirreled away? Let's talk offlist.)
