Actually, QUERY IPLPARMS tells you what parameters CP will use for a SHUTDOWN REIPL or an abend restart. If you don't see FN= or FT= in QUERY IPLPARMS, you can assume SYSTEM CONFIG. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
