Its definitely not a disk access issue. Its running on its own private 191 disk on each of the systems. I had originally thought it was a problem with the filemode, but I changed it to A6 and the problem still occurs.
I'm not sure if the external interrupt is a "red herring" though. Wakeup is stopping with RC=6 which indicates a console interrupt, not an external one. Its really weird problem. Martha
