Do the following:

1) set yourself up as a secondary user of VMSERVR and/or OSASF:
    SET SECUSER VMSERVR MAINT   (if your logged in as MAINT)
2) tell the guest to do the detach:
    SEND CP VMSERVR DETACH xxx
