Yes, and if you aren't careful and if you don't resolve the problem quickly,
you'll also be getting that horse into really good physical shape, and a
horse that's in shape can stand to "argue" for a lot longer. I've seen
people make that mistake with lunging - build a physically fit horse,
without really addressing the training gaps/issues that still remain.   I
think it was Linda Parelli who said she did that with her first problem
horse - that she just lunged him to a level of fitness where their arguments
lasted longer and longer.
