yes i think if you know your horse and it suddenly switches to something else its a warning flag. Like recently my pacey jaspar started looking in pics more to the trotty side just around the time he started getting a "hunters bump" on his rump. but the vet says he is fine and he isnt lame.... but there was a change in him.
