We have plenty of predators here and a Jack Russell terrior rescue that is not a good pal for chickens. We keep ours in two huge chain link dog kennels. It keeps chickens in and predators (domestic and foreign) out. The chickens would probably be much happier roaming free, but that woudln't last long. We one of Southern Oregon's only wheelchair accessible chicken yards, but have since moved the chickens a little farther from the house. Nancy
