Thank you for sharing your experiences. Wow! FIfteen hands is big for a Peruvian. I think the advice about giving her time off is very good. They start these horses at 3. I waited until she was almost 4. But the bone scan showed her growth plates were still open so she is still growing. I have put almost 8 months of training on her. I hope she doesn't forget completely. BTW, why did you switch to an Icelandic. Just curious because that is what I am doing. Maria
