Look I haven't attended an ILUGD event for ages and yet I was keenly aware that this was going on for quite some time. There is usually a pretty large overlap between the folks who turn up for these meetings and the people who actually end up doing the work during the event, so not having an online poll of some sort make exactly zero difference. Since you are not in Delhi, I would assume that the decision for ILUGD to participate would have had no concrete effect on your being present to help out. What makes ILUGD different from other LUGs is that it is based in Delhi.
