Yeah, that's what I use (well, emacs), but it requires reading the manual to figure out the exact syntax of the sources lines, as well as the exact URLs to the repositories, which I don't want to waste time locating. apt-setup could automagically add the relevant lines to sources.list once you selected which mirror to use (by country/name) in it's debconf interface. Will switch to apt-spy now.
