In an office, you care about how much space it takes up, at least you do if
you have the most expensive office space in the world like in Hong Kong. In
a small company you care because it's you that's going to carry the damn
thing when you move office (rather than trust it to a mover who will treat
it like a box of tinned soup).

In a SOHO, it may not matter if you have an SUV, but if you have to walk
for 15 minutes, catch a ferry and the subway to get to somewhere to get it
fixed, you care.

Having on previous occasions dragged around a Quadra 950 and a HPIII
printer, and done damage to my aged fragile back in the process, I do
notice how much equipment weighs.
