Absolutely! I agree with your thoughts re. microsoft. GUI based email requires top posting to maintain readability. The poster who said a journal starts at the beginning is way off base - I don't want to re-read the ENTIRE damn message every time I see it. Think about this - a message has 10 replies. You read len=1+len=1+1, etc. The total you have to read or scroll thru is 10! or 55 times as much as you would have to read if everybody top-posted. I keep my cursor on the delete icon, and if I have to move it down to scroll down 250 lines in each post or reply to read your one line comment, I usually assume you are stupid (nobody on this list, of course) and I don't read your message anyway. Bottom posters seem totally out of touch. Top posting is the rule on every list I know, except this one.
