Please help; i've lost all of my settings in the dock: icons are back to original appearance; added icons are missing; mail says I've never done "setup" before; IE explorer settings are all gone, including selection for home page; my address book which had many names is empty!!
i made the mistake of going into root while Trish was logged in, using my administrator name and password and changing some privileges for home folders. this somehow screwed up my log-in. I have trashed the user/library/preferences LSA files, to no avail. is there ANY WAY to get my email, address book, IE explorer and god knows what else BACK??? Please Help, Dale G.
