iMac Rev D 333 MHz... Not exactly a dog, but you reached the end of its 
upgrade path in one afternoon.  And, yes, it was always a fairly 
extraordinary little project to disassemble the Rev D and install memory 
(especially in the lower slot)...  One of the reasons I have stayed with Mac 
since 1984 is that the machines are durable & reliable, and each has 
delivered several years of service (far beyond their declared 
"obsolescence").  Of all of my Macs, however, the iMac Rev D was the biggest 
pain in the neck when it came to cracking the box and servicing it.
