I suspect he meant that he chooses to use a Mac because of the OS, not 
because of the chip. In other words, he wouldn't care if the Mac ran on 
Intel, or if Windows ran on PPC, he would still choose the Mac OS 
regardless of other factors.

I don't think he meant that he chooses not to use PowerPC chip based 
computers.
