How much RAM do you have? I still have only the 256 Mb that my iBook G4
came with, and that is clearly not enough for Panther. Waiting and
hoping for my finances to allow another 512 Mb...

been getting a lot of beach balls while browsing with Safari. I don't
even have to abuse it for things to stall up. As an example, when
reading
Yahoo Groups, I'll open messages in new tabs and Safari will seize up
even
if I do 2 or 3.
