I am asking for the speed of the ATA interface. Not the RPM's of the

different Ultra ATA speeds and not all will work in this Mac.

A few months ago, I bought a Seagate HD for my 400MHz iMac without
even bothering to look at which ATA speed it had. According to the
Seagate online specs for this drive, it's interface is "Ultra
ATA/100", which I'm guessing is the number you're looking for. This
drive has worked fine in this iMac.

Finally,

Thank you Kurt!
