No, the retail disks mentioned here are for all models that meet the  
minimum requirements.  They are black in color.  The grey disks are  
model specific.  These originally come with the Macs when new, but  
some people sell them on the open market.  The grey disks acquired  
this way give you a legal license if its installed copy is no longer  
installed on a functional machine.
