Every mail service has their glitches now and then.

GMail has been doing quite well recently.  I'd stick with 'em.

Verizon FiOS rocks (I'm on it now).  Their email service sux; I think 
it's pharmed to Yahoo.

Like with all ISPs, keep their software away from your Mac.  You 
already have everything you need to talk.
