When I changed over the 5.08 about a month ago, all of the sudden the POP3 server is
timing out and quitting in the middle of large file transfers. We did a test
yesterday, reloading 4.08 on a different server, then having a user upload files to
both of the same size (2.3mb)from his work. Then he tried to download off of the 4.08
server first, went right through without a hitch. Then the 5.08 server, quit at 30%,
second try quit as 28%, third try the mail box was corrupted and the file had to be
deleted here.
Is there a known fix for this or a registry edit that can take place to fix this
problem. I've had users set their Email program to check mail every 30 minutes and
that hasn't fixed it. We've also tried setting the POP3 server wait settings to 2
minutes and that hasn't fixed it either.
