Thanks for the response.  No, I haven't been able to duplicate the problem myself.  I'm on a cable modem and it doesn't take that long to download my mail.  I do see that when the message gets stuck it leaves that message and the following messages on the server allowing the customers not to be able to finish downloading.  It eventually times out.  As soon as I delete them from the server (with their permission)  they can finish downloading the rest of their mail.

I will check to see if they have upgraded their DUN and Winsock to the latest available.
Thanks :)

Have you been able to duplicate the problem Mary?  I have experienced
complaints of the same kind before where the users perception of how
long it should take was blinded.  4 MB attachment over 28.8 will take a
while I explain.  They respond with something like.. 'I waited 10 minutes'.
Yadayadayada...

However since you say the messages are not that big you might
check and see if the user has upgraded their DUN and Winsock to the
latest available.  I have seen this fix problems like this too.
I did not blame this on Imail because most of those cases were existing
problems on two other flavors of mail server.

Hello
I'm using Imail version 5.0.  I have a several customers call to complain about their mail not downloading as though it was stuck.  When we check their account you can tell that the mail was stuck on one message.  The messages aren't that big but they are causing a problem.   Does anyone know what would cause this to happen and maybe how I can resolve this.
Thankyou
