I've recently started having customers complain about difficulties in
sending mail. All of the customers are using Netscape Messenger, some new
users, some users for whom Netscape had been working and quit. When trying
to send mail, they get prompted repeatedly for a password, which doesn't
get accepted even when entered properly. Some are on virtual domains and
some are on the primary. Running 5.08 with no recent config changes.
Could SMTP "VRFY" be causing this?
