Well, I do know NS works, the last time I tried it, so I believe you are not
configuring something correctly. The settings are different when using a
domain with an IP vs one without. Which are you trying? KB has explained
this difference for a very long time. Long story, short answer: For a
virtual domain, in NS the username is 'user%virtualdomain@realdomain' and
the host would be 'realdomain', where realdomain is the name that resolves
to the IP used by IMail. Virtualdomain is the name used for that virtual
domain, the Official Host Name (OHN).
