Anyone tried this suggestion with Netscape?
I am still trying to make mine fail authentication however
I ran across this tip on a web site tonight. I am sure most
clients are set up like this but a lot of ours do not use the
Reply To field.
In Netscape, go to PREFERENCES -> IDENTITY. Make
sure that the fields 'E-mail address' and 'Reply To address'
both contain [EMAIL PROTECTED] Then go to MAIL
SERVERS and make sure that in the field 'Outgoing mail
server username' contains user%yourdomain.com.
The 'Outgoing mail server username' field needs to match
the same username as the 'E-mail address' and 'Reply To'
fields with the one notable exception of using the % sign
instead of the @ sign between your username and domain.
Additional note. In the above examples 'yourdomain.com'
needs to match your official host name in Imail.
