Thanks for your diligence in helping get this problem addressed!  --  I
can't believe that we are the only ones, maybe because we are higher
trafficed mail servers.  But the problem is very serious.  I called Ipswitch
last week, but our support contract expired last month, so they wound not
let us open a case -- I have reservation about renewing support on this
product.   I sent email to techsupport@ and they said in essence "yes,
people on the list have been saying something about this, too" ... Ok, so
they know about the problem (they have KNOWN about the problem since 5.07
but there has not been enought 'outcry' to get them moving to fix the
problem ...

So, please, Ipswitch, let us know how things are progressing on the SMTP
AUTH problem.
