You receive header errors because IMAP has the headers and then POP removes
the messages from the server. IMAP still thinks they should be there so
those headers are invalid. The best solution is to use IMAP exclusively on
your clients. It's a little more trouble since you have to mark the files
for deletion and then purge the folder but will end the problems you are
having now. You will also have all of your messages available in web
messaging.

Subject: [IMail Forum] email client blues
This is more client related so I apologize for the somewhat OT nature.
I receive my office mail via POP3, Im traveling more now and want to use my
laptop for email occasionally as well. I dont want to download any mail
into the laptop. I tried using IMAP4 on the laptop but when the POP3 client
(outlook2k) downloads the mail I receive header errors in my IMAP4 client
(outlook 2k) and cannot seem to get around this.
What are people doing in this scenario??
Currently decided to just use Web Mail for now but I want more features that
my client program provides. I cannot seem to find any synchronization
method for outlook 2k, does it exist.? I synch this way with my HP Jornada
(PPC) and works well....any suggestions or recommendations?
Running IMAIL 4.06
thanks,Adrian
