postfix has very extensive validations, but nowhere does it try to match 
the "SMTP client" ie, the mail server, with the "sender@senderdomain" as 
being bogus.

Think about virtual mail domain's traffic being sent from a mail server 
that is identified
by its default hostname and not the virtual domain name.
