I found it interesting that on 6/13/00 12:33 PM Joshua Drumwright said:

Likes:
It's got great anti-spam capabilities (at least IMHO)
It runs fairly smoothly and is pretty easy to setup.
I say it runs smoothly if you're not doing anything earth-shattering
with it.

Dislikes:
I frequently login and find the POP service taking up over 80MB of RAM
and climbing. I had to put my Swap file at 2Gigs just so my server would
stop shouting at me that the Virtual Memory was all used up. The only cure
offered by IpSwitch is to stop and start the service at regular intervals.

The list capabilities are not strong. Although it's never been spouted
as a great list server product (that I know of) I think that's just
something they threw in and didn't really spend a lot of time on it. I used
to use LetterRip for the Macintosh (http://www.fogcity.com) and LOVED it, I
still do. I long for the day when I can, perhaps, get a Mac and install it
at my Data Center with letterRip on it (or find a comparable listserv on
NT).

I think the product is a good product for say, I don't know, 500 or less
domains. Someone else may give a different number, I don't know.

I know that when my POP service was crashing over and over, it seemed like
it was when a whole bunch of people would login at the same time to get
mail. This was with only about 10 active domains. I would hate to see what
would have happened to it with 100+.
